Love Knows No Borders at Redfield
The Redfield community knows how to multi-task. They threw a Party With A Purpose and raised $13K to help build a new school building high a top the mountains in Guatemala. The money from the generous donors at Redfield helped to build a new school building at the Opal House . Their efforts will help ensure children have an opportunity to learn and thrive! What were the
most popular 'Toys'? Books!
With all the toys the group brought to the children, the most popular choice was - books! The children would play with the toys, but return to the piles of books time and time again. The collection was made possible by a Spanish-language book drive where we collected more than 50 children's books.
- What we take for Granted
If you are like me, you go to the fridge several times a day. You prepare meals for yourself and your family. Now imagine you have to plan meals every day for 13 teenage girls living in an orphanage and you only have one place for food storage. That was the scenario at SAN JERONIMO girls' orphanage.
Thanks to our generous donors, Mikes Angels delivered a new freezer during the last mission trip. Life's basic necessities that we take for granted are some of the biggest blessings for the children we proudly serve. So next time you hit the fridge, remember how blessed you are and consider helping the kids. There are so many ways to make a difference.
