Love Knows No Borders at Redfield

Redfield Redfield School

The Redfield community knows how to multi-task. Last year, they threw a Party With A Purpose and raised $13K to help build a new school building high a top the mountains in Guatemala. The money from the generous donors at Redfield is helping to build a new school building at the Opal House . Their efforts will help ensure children have an opportunity to learn and thrive! Thank you, Redfield!

What is Redfield Scaring Up Next

Redfield Donations
  • The Redfield community is at it again. This time they are scaring up donations to fund the Montessori curriculum for the new 3rd-6th grade classrooms they are helping to build.

This neighborhood has heart and soul – and energy to make great things happen for those less fortunate.

As you count your blessings this season, please consider helping the children in need in Guatemala. The orphanages desperately need basic necessities including diaper cream, vitamins, school shoes, clothes and books. Together, we can make a difference.

  • Most Popular 'Toys' Child reading book What were the most popular 'Toys'? Books!

Anne Glaser reports that with all the toys the group brought to the children, the most popular choice was - books! The children would play with the toys, but return to the piles of books time and time again. The collection was made possible by a Spanish-language book drive Anne held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church this summer, where she collected more than 50 children's books.

  • What we take for GrantedSpecial event at Festivity

If you are like me, you go to the fridge several times a day. You prepare meals for yourself and your family. Now imagine you have to plan meals every day for 13 teenage girls living in an orphanage and you only have one place for food storage. That was the scenario at SAN JERONIMO girls' orphanage.

Thanks to our generous donors, Mikes Angels delivered a new freezer during this year's mission trip. Life's basic necessities that we take for granted are some of the biggest blessings for the children we proudly serve. So next time you hit the fridge, remember how blessed you are and consider helping the kids. There are so many ways to make a difference.
